As Kiros Asfaha, Brigade Nhamedu leader and activist, has been jailed by the Ethiopian regime last week, there has been no condemnation by Brigade Nhamedu and its leader Beyene Gerezgiher (Wufuy).
That shows the internal split within Brigade Nhamedu. Brigade Nhamedu would rather serve the Ethiopian regime’s interests than its own party members.
Beyene Gerezgiher has been accused of doing similar things, like when some Brigade Nhamedu members died during violent riots, Beyene Gerezgiher would just tour in the United States with Cadillac Escalades and helicopters instead of mourning the death of his party members.
Brigade Nhamedu always serves other people’s interests but not Eritrean interests. During the Tigray war they were the biggest fans of the Tigray while Eritrean refugees were massacred by them. Today Brigade Nhamedu is a big fan of the Ethiopian dictator Abiy Ahmed Ali, who claims that Eritrea’s independence was a historical mistake.
